Electrical Construction

MetroPower employees perform their work around a continuous group oriented safety program. All of our employees are trained in safety, attend weekly safety meetings, and continually look for ways to make the workplace safe. Even our employee appraisals have built in factors revolving around the individuals safety record and value added safety input. As stated in our safety manual, violating any safety rule is grounds for dismissal. MetroPower employs a full time safety administrator. Prior to starting any project, all of the key members of the project team sit down with a loss prevention administrator from our insurance provider to review the job from a safety standpoint. The loss prevention administrator has no other interest in the job except safety. By reviewing this aspect of the project prior to beginning work, we are able to make safety a part of our overall job plan. Since 1989, MetroPower has made great strides in the area of safety. MetroPower has also been recognized by the Associated Builders & Contractors organization for our level of safety achievement and ongoing efforts in our safety program. MetroPower does not compromise safety for any reason
